Sunday Services
In character we are a church within the “Anglo-Catholic” tradition, wearing full Eucharistic vestments and the Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the church. We have a beautiful and powerful set of Stations of the Cross, painted for us by a retired priest and artist.
8:00 am Eucharist. A short, traditional language service with short sermon. 40 - 45 minutes.
9:30 am Sung Eucharist. A modern language service with Eucharistic setting and hymns. Between 1 ¼ - 1 ½ hours. We share coffee in the church hall afterwards.
4:00 pm
1st & 3rd Sundays of the month: Family Service. A short, informal service for all ages, but especially for children and families. 35 – 45 minutes. Refreshments are served afterwards
2nd Sunday of the month: Healing Service. A quiet, prayerful service with hymns, during which there is an opportunity for anointing with oil and the laying on of hands for healing; for oneself, for others or for any situation or issue which troubles us. 45 – 50 minutes
4th Sunday of the month: Evensong. A traditional language sung service from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer with hymns and sermon. 45 – 50 minutes.
