Baptism at St John the Evangelist

If you would like your child or children to be baptised (christened) at The parish Church of St. John the Evangelist, Withycombe Raleigh, you need to either live in the parish or have a connection to the parish. If you would like further information please contact the Rector,  Fr. Robert Sellers Tel. 01395 270206 or email:

We ask families to come to church before the baptism service to pick up an application form and to return it. Our family Services on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month at 4:00 pm are particularly suitable. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our church family.

Age is no bar to baptism! It would be usual for an adult who has not been baptised and who wishes to be so to want to affirm their faith and, after baptism to be confirmed by the Bishop and come to communion regularly afterwards. If you would like to discuss the possibility of adult baptism, please contact Fr. Robert. Tel: 01395 270206 or email:
